Some Sort of Miracle
I just read a very uplifting story about a girl in Etheopia who had been kidnapped in what is usually the marriage custom in Etheopia's rural areas. Young girls are plucked from their homes and taken captive then forced into marriage. They have to be beaten and raped into submission in order to accept the marriage.
This girl, who was only 12, was taken and had been beaten repeatedly by three men but lions chased them off! She was found surrounded by her rescuers and is now back home, safe and sound. Officials see it as "some sort of miracle".
I think it's really sweet the lions saved her because obviously, she had no chance on her own.

This is very reminiscent to the plot of Supergirl #37. No kidding. I told you it was a very serious book. Really cool actually.
