Six Down, Six to Go

The year is half over! It's been pretty quick to go by. I started a new job, had to get new insurance (and consequently a new doctor) and I've pretty much been doing that (working there) on automatic pilot, killing time.

This made me realize I need a career badly. Well, that and the fact that bills piled up and things got very hairy around here. So next week I start school.

It's been an interesting year but I feel that the latter half of the year should (hopefully) be much better. Less worries, more learning, growing...as they said at church, spiritual growth doesn't happen accidentally. So I really have to focus on that A LOT MORE.

I hope the year ends with me doing something creative and productive.

Hermes is still not home and probably won't be until tomorrow. His blood tests showed he still has abnormal kidney activity. Poor little kitty-cat. I miss him!
