Postcards from the Edge
As far as my own life: still very intense stuff going on with family and for myself, work is becoming stressful because the woman I work closest to doesn't like me. She doesn't hate me but she's not very friendly. It's such a constrast to my last job, where Frances and I (and before that, Lydia and I) got along so well and talked about our hopes and dreams and fears and oh my goodness did we LAUGH!
As for the life of celebrities and wanna-be's, on Model last night, Feronda almost got the boot and the best reason I could see for her being in the bottom 2 was her outfit at judging. Otherwise, I don't think she did that poorly but then again, it's down to like 6 so the competition is tight. The person who DID get the boot (all the way from Bangkok!) was preliminary favorite Nnenna. She was strikingly beautiful but arrogant and boring. She was like a one-trick pony and was forever using her "I have family in Africa" and "I want to storm the UN" card to get by. Finally, they'd had it with her.
Jade did well again. She posed with ease as a mermaid and despite looking "harsh" in the beginning of the competition, she was now able to move softly, languidly and gracefully.
Danielle closed the gap between her teeth and got Tyra's approval back.
Joanie looked really gorgeous in her mermaid picture and I was reminded why I had chosen her as my favorite in the beginning.
Well now the contest is down to 2 blondes, 1 biracial woman, and two black women and I think one of the blondes has to win (politics, you know- they haven't won yet). Sarah has not stepped up her game at all- she's still very ackward and now that Joanie got rid of the snaggletooth, it's smooth sailing to the Top!

Yes, I'm doing it JUST FOR RAFI. (though I'm sure the straight men don't mind the pix)

I saw part of it but all I caught was the one would-be priest as he's headed to seminary and he has to carry a cross (it's his first trial) up this road for miles. I'm not sure how that proves you're spiritual though.

I love Joanie's hair in this picture- it looks lustrous and healthy, like a shampoo ad. I wish my hair looked like that! When I was little my favorite "Charlie's Angel" was Jackline Smith 'cause she had that rockin' long, wavy hair. My hair is long and wavy but not shiny. How do I get it to shine???

My post doesn't go with yours at all! You and I are posting at the same time so that's how that happened! Isn't it so random- you talking about crosses, humility, blasphemy and hot priests, and me talking about lustrous hair????
