PET FOOD RECALL

For those pet lovers out there, I thought you should know there's a large recall going on for pet food. Go to www.menufoods.com/recall for more information. I know IAMS was named, as well as some of Kroeger brands. They said it was only the canned and/or pouch "wet/flaked" foods that were affected but it's being blamed for renal failure in some animals. I can't help but wonder if this had anything to do with the fact that I lost Hermes on July 15, 2006 and Mikey on January 6, 2007 to urinary/kidney problems. Now I'm scared about what I feed Mr. Julie! Those experiences, with the death of my beloved grandmother sandwiched in between, were completely devastating and heart wrenching and I don't wish to have that happen to anyone else!
