Be still my heart
I got re-certified in CPR, kiddies! So, feel free to choke on something if I'm around.
I went to get an EKG done on Monday for the heart flutter 'cause my mom was very worried about it. But I had read that heart flutters don't show up on EKGs unless they are happening right at that moment. Well, I was right. The EKG was normal and the doctor said the same thing- that it didn't mean there wasn't a problem. So I was urged to make an appointment with my primary care physician and have my heart monitored. But I don't think it's urgent. I mean, the flutters are caused by different things including anemia, which I found out I have. I was pin-pricked Monday and found to have a low hemoglobin count. Probably due to the antibiotics I take for the sinus infections, which are so frequent. So I have to take iron with orange juice.
Other than that, things are pretty much great. My new job still sorta sucks, though. It is BORING. I had so much more to do before as the office manager of the school and even though now I am an Administrative Assistant, which looks better on a resume, I pretty much just file papers. I LIVE for the few times I can do intake packages, that's how dull it is. And worse yet, can I justify asking for a raise in three months if they can hire someone to just file at a much cheaper price? I don't know.
Anyway, pretty soon I will be volunteering as a physical therapy assistant on weekends and maybe that will be a career to go for. Might as well!
So kids, stay tuned for the big PROJECT RUNWAY finale blog and the all-new AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL blog.
G'day!
PS- I actually had an EKG print-out that belonged to Dean Cain that my dad got for me when Dean came in as a patient to the hospital where my dad worked. He autographed it, "My heart beats for you, Wendy!" Ah, Superman!
