Project Top Model

Today I am 33 years old! Yikes! No one at work knows it, though, as my legal birthday is different than my actual birthday 'cause like in most Latin American countries, my birth certificate is WRONG. Oh well.

Anyway, poor Daniel V. He was so excited about his collection, especially his purses, and Tim Gunn was not blown away TO SAY THE LEAST. Meanwhile, Tim loved Santino's dresses and I have to agree! Santino also showed a softer, more vulnerable (real) side that turned me around completely on him (his humor had already paved the way, however).

So who will win? Who knows, with these crazy judges. I mean, look what Heidi Klum did to last year's winner, Jay McCarroll (as seen on his special, "Project Jay"): she made him work very hard on a dress for the Emmy's (post Seal baby) and at the last minute opted for something...more professional? He was PISSED! Don't blame him, though he didn't do ALL the work- he enlisted the help of last year's runner up, Kara Saun and she in turn sent some older gay gentleman to help sew.

Meanwhile, the girls from past America's Next Top Models are no such thing but they do have celebrity and have even done runway shows and pictures. Mercedes is a *gasp* catalog model. Yoanna House has a show on the Style Network. She looks different! She is rocking the long hair/bangs style you often see on gothic chicks who are emulating Betty Paige. She reminds me of Lady Heather, a recurring character on CSI.

The only "model" not talked about in ANY of these specials is the first winner, Adrianne Curry. Why? Because she's some trashy reality star who is going to be Mrs. Peter Brady and flashes her boobs every chance she gets? Tyra must be so proud.

Naima was on the show but was not really focused on. I think by now they realize what a huge mistake it was for her to win last year.

So Cycle 6 starts next week! Earlier this year, on the same day as the premiere of the new Project Runway season, Cycle 5 was having its finale. Similarly, now that Project Runway is ending on Wednesday night, America's Next Top Model #6 is premiering! What to do? What to do?

By the way, Cycle One's runner up, Shannon, is modeling and "still a virgin- until I get married". She is dating some hot model guy who I guess is also a Christian. Christians should not date hot people! It's not right! Where's the sacrifice? I guess the sacrifice for them is the no sex part. Good! SUFFER!

Ok, that was not very Christian of me. But I am not dating anyone right now, least of all some dude with ripped abs. Though, that might be a plus. Usually guys like that are shady even if they claim to be Christians but maybe I'm being prejudiced against hot people. Who knows? Meanwhile I have some sort of heart flutter but I can't even go check it out as I have no medical insurance right now, not until May 1st. Hopefully I won't croak. I had to cut out caffeine completely but I'm still waiting for Coke to come up with "caffeine free diet black cherry vanilla Coke with Splenda". I'm not holding my breath, however.
