Out of Sorts

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to church. I’ve been sick and I don’t have sick time so I have to go to work and tough it out all day and by evening time I’m bushed. Also on the weekends I just want to vegetate. (From my last entry it should be plain I am quite the couch potato these days.) It’s hard to not go to church. I start to feel a little out of sorts spiritually like there’s a fog over me. I hope I can attend this week. It’s my fault I feel this way because church or no church I can still read my Bible and pray but I’ve done that a little less than I should. Or a lot less! I mean, I’ve read pretty regularly but I haven’t prayed a lot. It’s like I’m trying to hide from God. Which is stupid, as I know I can’t do that. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back into the swing of things once my body gets adjusted to the weather change. Problem is I have terrible allergies that did not go away after springtime like they used to! It’s now fall and they are still here, manifested in a weird cough and sore throat that feels like a cold that’s coming on but never does. So I am always on Benadryl- one more reason to be tired. And now I have a sinus infection so I am also on Sudafed. And Tylenol for the fibromyalgia. If it wasn’t for the exercise kick I’ve been on, I don’t know where I would be.
So does anyone want to study the Bible with me so I can flex my spiritual muscles?
