About Me
- Name: Spleengrrl
- Location: the burbs, California, United States
I arrived in this country wearing a pink fur coat. Appropriately fabulous! Although I have figured life out from a spiritual standpoint, I am still in the process of deciding what is the best road to take materially speaking. I may yet become a librarian or an art historian but I've eliminated being the owner of a cheese farm in Vermont (too cold though lovely inspiration for painting!), being a victim's advocate (too stressful) or a true crime writer (too creepy).

This guy at the journalism convention was saying that he found it curious that every single newspaper in the country has at one time or another ran a "crazy cat lady" story about ladies living with cats. He thought it might be a good idea to write a story of what causes or leads to what he termed, "catlady syndrome" as though it was a clinical condition. I'm not saying you suffer from it, but your pics reminded me of that. I never got to find out what leads to it, because it wasn't really a workshop about content, but about other topics. I still want to research it though.

There are all sorts of different eccentric and crazies with off-beat habits and hobbies out there. Some people ar e really into their cigarettes. Others really into their cats. Some collect junk and antiques... And some love comic books...

Well I did buy my first comic book in a shop called "Stuff and Stuff" down Melrose which sold mostly junk and antiques, but I don't think I'm crazy.
