Yikes!

Mikey is at that age where he is in need of being neutered. I’m scared he will hate me, though. I didn’t have to go through that with Hermes as they would not give him to me at the pound until he was neutered. So he didn’t equate neutering with me. But with Mikester, I’ll have to stuff him in a cage and when he’s out he will be put through this miserable experience! He won’t trust me anymore! Hermes is already ornery but Mikey is sweet and loving. I don’t want that to change.
Does anyone out there know what pet’s reactions are to this experience and what I should do?
