The "breaks" for TV shows don't make sense in this order because my DVD and instant-watching activity have been interspersed in actuality and so obviously I watched Doctor Who Season 1 before I watched Seaosons 2 & 3 and the spin-off Torchwood.

We just got Control from netflix a few days ago. It's about Ian Curtis from Joy Division. Ahh, the days when I thought I could save all the hot guys who killed themselves.

I just watched The Foliage, a Chinese movie. It kind of stank. It was kind of pointless but its saving grace was that it showed me scenes from another culture, which always delights me.

Did you really love "27 Dresses" I thought it was formulaic, but as you know I will watch anything the lovely Katherine Heigl is in.

All romantic comedies (like romantic novels) are formulaic. There's always two people who you know will end up together despite big odds they won't and in the end a Grand Gesture on one of their parts wins the other's heart. The end. BUT..."27 Dresses" had some nice, newer elements thrown in which made it enjoyable for what it is: a formulaic romantic comedy.
